Yes. Redacted pages are saved as flat pictures with black boxes burned in, so nothing remains underneath.
Why are some pages pictures now?
Only pages that contain redactions are flattened. The rest are kept as they were.
Can I find text automatically?
Yes, for PDFs with real text. Scans need boxes drawn by hand.
Are my files safe?
