How to Convert JPG and PNG Images to PDF
Offices, schools and government websites often ask for a single PDF instead of loose photos. Converting images is easy, but a few choices decide whether the result looks professional.
Choose the page size
- A4 or Letter is best when the document will be printed or filed.
- Same size as the image keeps every pixel and suits screenshots and artwork.
Convert in four steps
- Open JPG to PDF (or PNG to PDF).
- Add your images. Photos from a phone keep their correct rotation.
- Put them in order with the arrows.
- Press Convert to PDF.
Scanning documents with your phone
For paper documents use Scan to PDF. On a phone the button opens the camera. Take the photo in good light with the page flat. The Black and white document filter makes text crisp and keeps the file small.
Make the text searchable
A PDF made from photos has no real text. To search or copy it, run the result through OCR PDF.
