How to Sign a PDF Without Printing It
Printing, signing and scanning a form wastes paper and time. You can place your signature directly on the PDF instead.
Three ways to create a signature
- Draw it with a mouse or your finger. This looks the most personal.
- Type it and let the tool turn your name into a handwriting style.
- Upload a picture of your real signature on white paper.
Sign in four steps
- Open Sign PDF and choose your file.
- Create your signature and press Use this signature.
- Click the line on the page where it should go. Drag the corner to resize it.
- Use Add text for the date, then press Save signed PDF.
Is it legally valid?
Rules differ by country and by document. In many places a simple image signature is accepted for everyday agreements, while some documents need a certified digital signature or a witness. Check the rules for your case. This tool places an image of your signature. It is not a certificate based signature.
Protect the result
After signing, you can lock the file with Protect PDF so it needs a password to open, or use Edit PDF to fill in the other fields first.
